was so happy to be with my family and relatives for just 1 more day!=D

too bad i don't have a DSLR with me!=(

considering to buy now.

as it's really inconvenient without it.

i can't take photo for my assignment!!!

yea,basically i won't buy it if i no need to do that stupid assignment.

i would rather buy a digital camera so that i could camwhore all day.*Oops*=0

2day was the 1st day of Art Workshop with Prof. Giuseppe Borrello.

i actually decided to go for it at the very last minute.

anyway,the workshop was fun!

but i'm satisfied that Ms. Huei said most of the people like mine.*smile broadly*

but the thing is,

my figure drawing is abit secondary look.*cry till death*

i think i'm having too much influenced since i graduated from sec school.

i somehow can't find the style i used to have.

i somehow try not to do something i used to do but trying on some thing new.

gosh, he's charming!especially when he sang.*blush*

as i said in the earlier post,this was the 1st time i spent my weekends in Singapore.

well.sometimes i do stay until Saturday,but i will still go back to JB at night.

actually decided to go back at Friday night,but there's de-briefing.

the de-briefing was really such a long time lar.

we actually wanted to have the de-brief at the meeting room.

but ended up forget to book the room.

so Mr.VP,Sis said we were held it at FC2.

then after that decided to move to FC1 as FC2 was very noisy.

frankly,i never been to FC1 since i steped in this super duper big campus!

this was my 1st time!

well.there's no one there.

so we started our de-brief and suddenly...

the lights turned off.

actually it was the uncle closing his stall lar.

then he switched off all the lights.

so we de-brief in the dark.

well.it's a little creepy there i thought.

during de-briefing,my sis called me and we chatted a little.

she told me that our neighbour just reared 3 puppies!

can't wait to see!hehe

Yesterday.Saturday.

yeah...this was the reason that i couldn't go back to JB.

as we have DS assignment due next Fri.

so some of us went to school to do the painting.

i spent whole day there but at last i only managed to transfer my drawing onto the canvas.

not even paint a single part of it.

as for the quality of the square canvas,it's really not that good compared to the rectangle one.

and i really not satisfied with it.

should have get the rectangle one!

and u know what,our lecturer actually showed us her own canvas which is about the size of 30"x30" inches.and honestly i must said that her canvas quality is the better one!same as those rectangle canvas!

today woke up around 10+am.

last few days actually decided to go back today to get some Retro clothes for the Mr and Mrs SP events.

but got lots of works to do so forget it.

then actually planned to start painting my canvas.

but until now,i'm still procrastinating!

Can't go back JB this weekends
as FINALLY,our CANVAS for the Tales of 2 Cities painting(Venice and Singapore) arrived!
so we are allowed to do it in e studio this Saturday.
and i decided to go.
school will be providing Acrylic paint.(2 person share 1 set)
of cos i ll make use of free stuffs.(evil smile~)
especially all those drawing materials which are extremely cost.

yah,we have to submit the painting by next Friday and they only gave us the canvas today!WTH~
like we have lots of time to spend like that =/
like we have nothing else to do like that.
and the canvas is 30x30 inches!!!
god damn it.

i used to love design,
a lot.
i like to scribble when i'm free.

now i'm in the design course,
i'm glad that i can be in this course,
i'm happy that i can do something that i like,
but time goes on and things turn out differently,
i somehow cant find the way to express myself.

i used to treat designing as an interest,
but now i'm taking this course and designing become part of my work,
i used to think that it will be better for my future as i love designing,
so that i will feel happy to go to work everyday.
but things always change right?

design had became my work,my task,or my job.
i'm forced to do it for the sake of doing it.

sometimes,i really don't know what's the point of attending some classes.
just like today,we spent around 2 hours just to present our typography.
after that was about the typography assignment.

yes.
in some way,i'm actually learning new things like using all those soft wares.
i wish i could be excel in design soft wares.
Oh...i should not use wish,i should say:
I WANNA BE EXCEL IN ALL THE DESIGN SOFT WARES!
all i need is TIME.

yes.
as i said,i'm learning new things in this module.
but yet,i'm also learning nothing in this module.
DESIGN CAN BE TAUGHT?
there's never a fix answer for this question.
as in design can be taught by knowing the techniques and methods,etc.
but in the other way,design is something that can't be taught.
as in the ideas u came out with is always your very own idea.
u cannot ask someone to teach u that as u need to dig it out from your own tiny brain.
others can only guide you or give your supports.
well.i don't know what i'm saying actually.
just say it for the sake of saying.
hope you get the meaning.

DESIGN IS SO EASY.

u try to put your disgusting foot in our shoes then maybe u ll know the real situation.
perhaps,u will never know the real situation cos u are too lousy to get in our shoes.(cos our shoes stink?)

To score a distinction or high marks in this design course is not easy as u think at all.
i could not say that other courses such as engineering,bio science,business,etc is easy.
as i understand that all the courses have their own difficult parts.
but too bad there's still idiots that don't understand.they should cry for themselves.
is hard to score well in design course,
because we don't have chapters,formulas,information,etc to study and memorize so that we can score in the exams.(i'm just saying for the sake of saying,no offends to other courses.)
because,there's no RIGHT or WRONG in design.
is like u put in your whole effort and your precious time to design,
and in the end,
if the customer like it,you success.
but if they don't,then say good luck to yourself.
everyone have a different taste.
that why human are amazing.
we have different opinion on certain things.
and that's why design is NOT that as easy as u think.
that's why it's hard to score as we need to depends on the lecturers' taste.

Just here to update my current situation.
last wed went to Little India for photo shoot lesson.
quite fun?QUITE only la...
btw,the roti canai there sucks!
it's so thick and cold!
even the curry!yucks!
and the roti tisu that Delia ordered was like only half of the normal roti tisu.
i mean it was really short...cos the normal one was actually quite tall de.
so it was short and thin,and it cost 2 bucks!aiks...
after that went for GEMS...

Monday we had HCD presentation.
We talked about Victorian Era which was a VERY WIDE topic!
and our group talked too much on certain topic till time exceeded!




had presented on the typography homework.
it's just a homework but we must to present it!=/
the 1st pic we were asked to cut any stuffs from magazine and create a font for our name.
i was like why we cant just use hand to design?why must cut from magazine?and why my name got so many Esssssss?

as for the 2nd pic,we were asked to chose something like poem,sentences or codes to write it out by hand.
and i don't know that we should design the font to suit the poem.
so i just took 1 part of the poem and just write it down without making it related to the poem.
so when presenting i just anyhow said...haha
